Mission:
St. John Vianney Catholic School, founded in 1960, is a parish elementary school in Rancho Cordova, California serving the families of St. John Vianney Parish, families of neighboring Catholic parishes and families in surrounding communities. The school serves a diverse socioeconomic, ethnic and cultural population. The school, its families, and the parish work to build a cohesive faith community.

St. John Vianney School provides a quality education which stresses traditional Catholic values and practices. We maintain high academic standards, service the community and encourage respect for all people.

Goal:
The goal of St. John Vianney School is to educate the whole child, keeping an appropriate balance of spiritual, intellectual, cultural, social, emotional, and physical development. We recognize that parents are the primary educators of their children and that the function of the school is to extend and support this process. It is our aim to implement a program that will recognize and address the individual needs and dignity of each child because all are children of God.
