About the Church:
We are a church of over 500 people trying to follow Jesus Christ. Our mission is to be used by God for the transformation of the world.
We do this through faithful and enthusiastic worship services, Christ-like caring, Biblical vision, grace filled beliefs, inclusive fellowship and global outreach.
Get to know us and we will help you hear the call of Jesus Christ in your own life and to personally walk with him as a disciple of Jesus Christ. You will be invited to use your unique God given abilities to serve others. We are young and old, conservative and liberal and everything in between. We gather for Bible studies and prayer, participate in youth ministries, serve at the local soup kitchen and support a world wide outreach through one of the largest denominations in the world.
Salvation for us is deeply personal but not just private. We believe that faith means getting involved in the needs of the world. When John Wesley started his “Methodist” church renewal movement in the 1700s, he spoke of holiness in heart and mind. That is still our goal.

History:

Our church springs from a rich tradition of studying and spreading the gospel to every corner of society, which was begun in 1729 in England and led by John and Charles Wesley. The United Methodist Church is the result of the 1939 merger of three Methodist bodies (Methodist Episcopal, Methodist Episcopal South and Methodist Protestant churches) and a 1968 union of the Evangelical United Brethren and The Methodist Churches.
