Our Mission

The Mid-Peninsula Boys and Girls Club (MPBGC) is a non-profit organization that has been serving youth between the ages of 6 and 18 years since 1955. Our mission is to inspire and enable all youth, especially those from disadvantaged circumstances, to reach their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens. This goal is accomplished by providing members with an array of educational, recreational and social activities in a safe and structured environment during after-school hours.

The Mid-Peninsula Boys & Girls Club incorporates into all programs a youth development strategy that fosters a sense of belonging, competence and usefulness, as well as builds self-confidence and self-esteem among members. For only $15 per year, members participate in a variety of programs in five core areas:

Character and Leadership Development
The Arts
Health & Life Skills
Sports, Fitness and Recreation
