Lakewood UMC has been a part of the community since 1881, with a passionate commitment to serving people in need, both locally and around the world. 

If you are a pilgrim, a seeker, or someone with questions about your faith journey, Lakewood UMC is a good place to worship. We seek to provide a safe environment for asking the difficult questions of life. LUMC welcomes everyone to participate in the life of the church, including at the Communion table. 

Our worship time is 10:00 a.m., when we offer a variety of music styles, including our New Faith Band and our Chancel Choir. We believe that God is present through all styles of worship, as well as through service, community, and education. Progressive theology combined with creative worship styles creates a unique and meaningful environment for people of all ages to experience the Holy and be transformed.
