Iowana Farm

17749 Badger Avenue
712-545-9300

Iowana Farm is family owned and operated. We grow organic grass and alfalfa hay and heirloom vegetables. Our largest crop is heirloom tomatoes, with over 90 varieties last year. We also grow heirloom peas, asparagus, arugula, broccoli raabe, lettuces, radishes, carrots, beans, cucumbers, watermelon, summer squash, winter squash, peppers and eggplant.

We make every effort to fill your 1/2 bushel box. The first boxes early in the season will be mostly leafy greens. We continue with the greens but start to add peas and then beans and cucumbers. Then, as we lose most greens, we add broccoli, cabbage, caulifower, garlic, onions, potatoes and zucchini. There is a long climax of sweet corn, tomatoes, sweet peppers and eggplant. The last few weeks we add winter storage items like winter squash and turnips.
