Mission Statement

The Chamber's Mission Statement: The Humboldt Chamber of Commerce enhances the social and economic development of Humboldt through the development of programs and community events designed to promote and encourage support of local business. The Chamber works with existing business and industry to address needs and supports partners in efforts that would attract new industry prospects to Humboldt.

The Humboldt Chamber of Commerce is a non-profit organization made up of individuals and businesses who join together to promote existing commercial, financial, industrial and civic interests of our community.
The Humboldt Chamber of Commerce has a long history of success. This organization was chartered July 25, 1905.

This volunteer organization is under the direction of a Board of Directors, who work without pay and set the policies of the chamber. The administrative duties are performed by the Executive Director and Executive Assistant, which is a paid staff.

The variety of Chamber activities are endless, mainly depending on the community's needs and the desire of the chamber to meet those needs.

Committees ensure the success of the chamber's goals and objectives as set forth by the needs of the community.

The goal of the Humboldt Chamber of Commerce is to recruit as many interested firms and individuals to become members. The fees are apportioned among the members, thus creating an operating budget.

The Humboldt Chamber of Commerce is dedicated to improving the quality of life for all its residents and those that work here. The Humboldt Chamber of Commerce's desire is to promote the positives that this community has to offer.

Our Chamber serves this community by referring businesses and answering thousands of requests by person, mail and telephone for information about Humboldt.

Your support mentally, morally, financially and volunteering is greatly appreciated. There is a place in this organization for everyone who cares about Humboldt.
