History:

Gospel Light Baptist Church was founded in June 1992 in an old cinder block, storefront building. What started with just a handful of people has grown, in a very short time, to a church which averages over fourteen-hundred in Sunday attendance. Gospel Light Baptist Church is an anointed, energetic, soulwinning, KJV, independent Baptist church that strives to love people with the compassion of Christ.

We are committed to loving God and touching people with His love. Our greatest desire is to see people come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ and have a real, lasting relationship with Him. I think you'll find that we are a warm church that longs to see our guests become life-long friends.

Each week we gather together to enjoy practical teaching, uplifting music, and a very friendly spirit. Gospel Light Baptist Church is a place where questions are taken seriously and people are respected regardless of where they are in their spiritual journey. Nothing brings us greater joy than helping people know how to apply the Bible to daily life so they can face the "real" issues that impact us all.
