Gorge Artists Open Studios, GAOS, is a not-for-profit project. It launched in cooperation with The Dalles Art Center, a grant from the Wasco County PUD, and the work of volunteer organizers. As a project sponsor, The Dalles Art Center is providing office space and infrastructure for the event. The Wasco County PUD provided start-up funds for office equipment and supplies.
