About Us:

The congregation of First Christian Church in Dover is a Disciples of Christ denomination. Sunday school starts at 10:00 am on Sundays in the education wing with church services following at 11:00 in the sanctuary of the main building. Regular weekly events and activities include choir and bell practice on Tuesday evenings beginning with bells at 5:30, bible study on Wednesday at 10AM and 6:30PM. This local congregation formed, then erected their church building in1872 using bricks that were made by hand in Dover. Services have been held there each Sunday since. This church also has an active women groups that meets at 6:30PM the first Monday of each month.
