History :

Established in 1993, DAC was originally founded under the name of Bay Rivers Art Guild (BRAG),  The name was changed in 2013 to create a more recognizable and applicable name to the growing, ever evolving organization.

DAC is led by an Executive Board consisting of a President, 1st VP, 2nd VP, Secretary and Treasurer. In addition, there are 12 Board positions which allow other citizens to assist in administrative affairs.

DAC offers a variety of classes for both adults and children throughout the year. Additionally, DAC holds a members only show as well as an annual juried show. Other projects include the Outreach program offering members an opportunity to showcase their works at local businesses.  A new event is the Annual Farm & Arts Faire held on the beautiful grounds of city hall... held in early June, this event has been a wonderful success!
