The Department of Parks & Recreation, under the leadership of Kristen Jones has seen many improvements around the City. Kristen has been with the City of Dania Beach for 26 years, Director for 3 years.

The City of Dania Beach Parks and Recreation Department takes great pride and is committed to provide safe, fun and lifelong leisure activities. Our activities are designed to enhance the quality of life with diverse programs and state of the art facilities for the residents and surrounding communities of Dania Beach. We meet these objectives by offering programs, services and designing facilities which residents find popular and which will compliment their level of experience in fitness as well as increase their social interaction with individuals that share common interests.
