Founded in 1814, Bangor Theological Seminary is an ecumenical seminary in the Congregational tradition of the United Church of Christ.  It is the only accredited graduate school of religion in Northern New England. With campuses in Bangor and Portland, Maine, the Seminary's primary mission is preparation for Christian ministry. Graduate programs include the Master of Divinity, Master of Arts and Doctor of Ministry degrees.
