With Fall right around the corner, now is the time to register for our fall programs! We have many different programs being offered in the coming months that will keep you active and allow you to be creative. We have FIVE new classes available and FIVE returning programs to take advantage of.

New Programs:

Line Dancing - $6 per class
Have you been wanting to learn how to Line Dance? Or do you have Line Dance experience and want to improve and learn new dances? Come join us on Wednesdays from 10 am - 11:30 am for Line Dance instruction. We will start with Beginner dances and progress to more difficult dances depending on the skill level of the participants. We will cover classic line dances as well as the latest dances. What a great way to exercise both your mind and your body and to make new friends!

Tai Chi -  $10 per class
Promote strength, flexibility, and stress relief by practicing the Sun Style of Tai Chi. These classes are a wonderful way to stay active and fit, taking place from 10 am - 11am on Tuesdays.

Gentle Restorative Yoga - $10 per class
Indulge in an hour of pure rest and rejuvenation in this all-level gentle yoga practice taking place on Wednesdays from 6 pm - 7 pm. This class offers a wonderful opportunity on to create space for yourself and relieve physical and emotional stress.

Healing Hatha Yoga - $12 per class
Focus on your breathwork and posture as you relax and meditate in this healing hatha yoga class on Mondays from 5 pm - 6:20 pm. In this all-level class, you will learn the foundations of yoga in a safe and supportive environment.

Canine Therapy Training - $99 for the whole program
Learn how you & your dog can help others through this canine & handler therapy dog training and certification program on Saturdays from 9:30 am - 10:30 am! This course is designed for those looking to visit hospitals, children’s homes, assisted living and rehab facilities, and more as a volunteer therapy dog team! At the completion of the class, you and your dog will have the opportunity to be tested for the AKC Canine Good Citizen and Therapy Dog Team. 

Returning Programs:

Hula - $50 for every 5.5 hour long class
Learn Hawaiian culture, values, and the dances of Hawaii with a Native Hawaiian Instructor once a month on Saturdays from 9 am - 2:30 pm! Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced dancer, Hula Master Kehau Chrisman will help you develop as a dancer and take your hula journey to the next level!  Kehau creates a warm and welcoming environment for students that is inspiring, educational, and uplifting. Her teaching style is supportive, encouraging, and accessible to people of all ages, backgrounds, and movement abilities.

Card Making - $20 per class
Want to get creative in a friendly and fun environment while also learning a new skill? Join our Card Making Workshop for just that! Enjoy being with your friends (or meeting new ones) and unwinding as you get creative and see your finished craft project. During each class, you will be led by expert crafter and instructor Dolly Werner in creating beautiful, unique greeting cards perfect for Birthdays, Holidays, or just to send someone well wishes. You will leave every class with a beautiful set of 4 greeting cards for only $20 per class (that's less than most store-bought cards), and there is nothing better than giving someone a card you made by hand. Whatever level of crafting skill set you possess, this class is for you! Each class takes place on Tuesday with times varying between morning and evening!

Guitar, Bass or Ukelele Private Lesson - $80 for 4 private lessons
Learn to play your favorite songs, styles of music, or even create your own songs on the guitar by utilizing the techniques taught in this course. Or enjoy strumming some contemporary pop riffs or traditional Hawaiian music on the Ukulele. All levels from beginners to advanced are welcome! Private lessons are an opportunity for students to learn at their own pace with individualized attention.

Soccer with B.E.S.T - $99 for the program
Beginners Edge Sports Training puts a ball at your child’s feet beginning at 18 months old! We teach core skills formatted in a FUN, safe and loosely-structured, non-league environment where your child learns eye/foot and eye/hand coordination, listening skills, following directions, motor-skills, balance, teamwork and so much more! Dribbling and ball control will always be taught throughout each weekly 45-50 minute class. Specialty skills such as Throw-ins, Goalie Skills, Defensive moves, Passing (etc) are introduced in the 2nd half of each class for your 31 month old and older children. Scrimmaging is also encouraged to reinforce the skills learned in class. Please bring a soccer ball. For more information on times, please visit the Parks And Recreation website!

Basic Dog Obedience - $195 for the program

Welcome to Basic Dog Obedience with certified instructor Jann Watts! This class will be the foundation for a significant relationship between you and your dog.  Learn why it is so important "in a dog's eyes" to be a leader.  The instructor will teach all basic commands: heel, sit, stay, down, and come. Along with these basic commands, the instructor will address many typical behavior issues: barking, biting, housebreaking, jumping up, door bolting, and many more. The class will provide great mind and body exercise for both you and your dog. Classes will take place on Thursdays from 11 am - 12 pm. Please note dogs must be at least 4 months old and current on vaccinations.
