The 28th Annual Ouray Ice Festival & Competition

Our annual Ouray Ice Festival, which is our largest fundraising event of the year, spans three days and four nights every January, transforming the town of Ouray into an ice climbing mecca with people from around the world gathering to celebrate the growing sport of ice climbing.

Kickoff night with rab and the aac: double header

6pm - 8pm: Moving Screening: The Scale of Hope

Followed by a Q&A with Kitty Calhoun and Molly Kawahata

Doors open: 5:30pm

Theme: Miami Vice

Location: The Twin Peaks Lodge & Hot Springs

If you are demoing gear and taking part of a Sunday clinic that ends AFTER 1pm, please return all gear to the Powderhouse building located next to the Lower Bridge in the Vendor Village.

10am - 1pm: Walk-up climbing wall

Location: The Kid’s Wall next to Dick’s Chalet within the Ice Park

10am - 1pm: Kids’ Climbing college

Location: The Kid’s Wall within the Ice Park

9am - 4pm: Fest clinics
