This Asian-inspired festival pays tribute to the culture and New Year traditions of Korean, Chinese, Vietnamese, and other countries that follow the lunar calendar. It features a special Lunar New Year Drone and Light Show on the largest screen in the world, NEW lighted parade, cultural craft activities, live entertainment, and other cultural elements.

Event Schedule:

4:00 pm – 9:00 pm: Attractions: Dinosaur Explore, Dinotorium, Mini-golf, 4-D theater
4:00 pm – 7:30 pm: Live performances, cultural arts, games, and craft activities, live entertainment, roaming streetmosphere
7:30 pm – 8:00 pm: Expanded parade through Crossroads
8:00 pm – 8:30 pm: Live entertainment on Memorial Lawn stage
8:30 pm – 9:00 pm: Lunar New Year Drone Show, Light Show, and fireworks finale

Parades, led by dancers in colorful traditional dress, will take over Crossroads each night. Also featured are the Dragon and Lion dance teams, music and drums, new lighted floats, and a lantern parade.

Hundreds of lanterns, lights, kites, and beautiful cultural decor will hang throughout Crossroads.

Voyage to the Moon - 4D Movie
Pandas embark on a heroic journey to save their father who is stranded on the moon! In order to rescue their father and escape the evil overlord of the moon's Wishing Tree "factory", these pandas must come together to save the day!

Food trucks with cultural food options like bubble tea, egg rolls, pho, Korean BBQ, spring rolls, noodle bowls and more. *food options subject to change.

Learn calligraphy, yo-yo making, knot tying, and more from certified instructors from the Chinese Cultural School of Atlanta. *nominal fee for craft activations paid to the instructors. Craft activities subject to change.

Club K-Pop brings music, dancing, blacklights, and a live DJ to the Lunar New Year Festival. Head over to the Skyhike complex for your favorite k-pop tunes.

Drone & Light Show

End each evening with a festive Drone Show* featuring a fleet of color-changing drones creating amazing aerial formations synced to music, then watch the massive Lunar New Year Light Show projecting images on the mountain along with immersive lights, lasers, and special effects, followed by a fireworks finale.

*Some elements may be canceled due to inclement weather including high-winds.
