10am-3:30 CDN – Featuring new, vintage, and antique quilts and other fiber art, Woven in Time Returns 2023 promises to showcase both hand quilted and machine quilted works as well as fiber arts.  Weather permitting, there will be an outdoor bbq with hotdogs, chips, etc.  Admission by free will offering at St. Peter’s Anglican Church, 20 Church Street.

10am-5pm CDN - Permanent Friendship Bracelets at Element 506. Come celebrate your special bond with a modern twist on the friendship jewelry.

11am-8pm CDN - Drop by the Oak Bay Snack and Dairy for an International Festival Themed Treat. See Oak Bay Snack and Dairy on Facebook for what the treat will be!

4pm-6pm US - Children's Peanut Fair, behind Calais Elementary School. Plastic peanuts can be purchased and used for games to win prizes. "Doctors" and "nurses" at the Doll Hospital and Teddy Bear Clinic will also be onsite, providing emergency care for all the sick or injured dolls and stuffed animals.

5:30pm US - Meet & Greet, Hardwicke's Complementary hot dogs and beverages provided by the International Homecoming Festival Committee and served by the Calais Lions Club. Come meet and celebrate with friends and neighbors before the opening ceremony.

6:30 US/7:30 CDN - Opening Ceremony - "Hands Across the Border" on Ferry Point Bridge. A Celebration for all ages! Hotdogs and drinks in Calais courtesy of the Calais Lions and City of Calais to kick things off. Then we celebrate on the bridge with our annual handshake and flag exchanges, followed by dessert on the Canadian side at Gateway Park after the ceremony.

6:30pm-10pm US - Street Dance with DJ Jamie Bohanon, City Building parking lot. For kids of all ages!

7pm US - Singles Cribbage Tournament to benefit International Homecoming Festival, Fitzgerald's Tavern, 234 Main Street. Single elimination, $20 buy in, winner takes half

Thursday, August 3rd, 2023

10am-2pm CDN - FRC Fun Day with friends at the Family Resource Centre. Activities within the Centre and book giveaway.

10am-4pm CDN - BMO Rock Search - Find a blue painted rock with the BMO Logo and return the rock to BMO to claim a prize. Rocks can be found between Something's Brewing and Waterfront Park.

1:30pm-3:15pm CDN - Tournaments at the W.J. Booth Centennial Pool. 3 on 3 basketball tournament followed by a multi-swim tournament (front crawl, back crawl, breaststroke). Winners in each category get to race a lifeguard at the end.

2pm-6pm CDN - IHF Kids Fun Day at the Garcelon Civic Center. Free carnival games and prizes, inflatables, concessions for sale. With Pokemon battles from High Tides Music, fishing for candy bags from St. Croix International Waterway Commission, CBSA Dog Handler and many more! See International Homecoming Festival

5pm US - Chair Affair Auction, Flat Iron Park. Come bid on your favorite Adirondack chair, all beautifully and uniquely decorated by local merchants and supporters. All completed chairs will be displayed one hour before the auction for viewing.

6pm US - Sidewalk Chalk Art, Flat Iron Park. Kids of all ages are welcome to come and create art on the sidewalk. Chalk will be provided or bring your own.

6pm CDN - Homecoming - Golden Hour Dinner at The 5 Kings featuring Shawn Richard.

6pm-7:30pm US - Art show, sponsored by Calais Free Library. Elementary, middle school and teens display their artwork in front of the library.

6:30pm-8:30pm CDN – St. Stephen Summer Concert Series at the David Alison Ganong Chocolate Park featuring Dave Humphreys.

6:30pm US - Concert in the Park. Flat Iron Park. Come join your friends for an evening of music. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets and enjoy this free concert

Dusk US - Night Golf, St. Croix Country Club. Register by 8pm. $20 entry fee. Six-hole shotgun start.

9am-2pm CDN – Join us at the St. Stephen Farmers’ Market, St. Croix Riverside’s premiere artisan and produce market on the St. Stephen Waterfront.

10am-12:30pm CDN - Visit the Story Tent at the Farmers' Market where St. Croix Public Library staff will be reading stories and doing themed activities.

4pm-8pm CDN - Drop by St. Stephen Waterfront to try your hand at axe throwing at the HaliMac Axe Throwing- Fredericton Mobile Trailer. Two participants at a time, ten throws each. Closed-toe footwear required. Participants required to sign waiver form. No age limit, children 16 and under must be accompanied by parent or guardian. Other terms and conditions apply

4pm-8pm CDN - ANICA pre-concert entertainment in the GCC parking lot. Come have fun with us before the doors open at 8pm

5pm CDN - Homecoming - Diner 81

5:30pm US - 2023 Blue Devil Alumni Classic, Calais High School. Lady Blue Devils at 5:30pm and Blue Devils at 6:30pm. Games feature Blue Devil basketball greats taking the court one more time for a great cause, while reliving some of those "glory days" with fans and former players. $4 for adults and $3 for students. Prizes, raffles, giveaways.

8am US - Calais Lioness Super Draw, Calais Street Fair. Purchase tickets to win great prizes from nearly 100 local merchants. Drawing at 2pm.

8am US - Calais Rec. One-Mile Fun Run, Memorial Park, Calais. A one-mile run for kids ages 4 to 12 with awards in many age groups. Register by 7:45am, no fee to enter

8am-4pm US - Street Fair, downtown Calais. Two blocks of Main Street lined with vendors, jewelry, clothes, gifts, and more.

9am US - 42nd Annual Johnson's True Value International 5K Race, Calais Memorial Park. This two-nation race is a USATF and Athletics Canada Certified course that begins in Calais, travels through St. Stephen, and finishes back in the states. Requires participants register from 7 to 8am US and provide a passport. $15 pre-registration, $20 race day

10am US - Frogtown Puppeteer Show, sponsored by International Homecoming Festival Committee. Maine Heritage Museum, Union Street.

10am CDN - Join the Charlotte County Museum for Tours, Scavenger Hunts, and Prizes. Young guests (and young at heart) can take part in a scavenger hunt while on one of our guided tours - starting at 10am, 11am, and 1pm - for a chance to win a prize (while supplies last).

10am-2pm US - DUNK TANK! Bringing back a great memory of the past. All proceeds will go to the International Festival Committee.

10am-2pm US - Annual Book Sale, at Calais Free Library.

3pm US - Blast from the Past Movie, State Cinemas, 239 Main Street. In honor of the 50 years of celebrating International Homecoming Festival, come watch a movie from that time period. A 1970s film will be featured with, of course, delicious theater concessions available

3pm US - Skate 4 Life Event, Calais Skatepark. Presentations, youth lessons, park jam, and skills demo. Prizes, raffles, food, and drinks. Come learn about mental health and recovery services in this area.

5pm US - Cornhole Tournament, sponsored by Ceaser's Pub & Grill, 663 Main Street.

6pm US - Concert in the Park, featuring The Tyler Healey Band, Flat Iron Park, downtown Calais. Bring your chair or blanket and enjoy this free concert that leads up to the fireworks!

7pm US - Kid's Candy Scramble, Flat Iron Park. Children can take part in the fun candy shell-out during the concert!

7pm-9pm CDN - Homecoming - Night Market on The 5 Kings Patio

12pm-4pm CDN - All Vehicle Show and Shine at the Garcelon Civic Center. ATV's, Jeeps, Antiques, Hybrids, Electric...come show off what you've got! Entrance for participants begins at 11:00 until parking lot is full.

12pm CDN - International Pool Festival at Dooly's. Tournament will be double elimination: race to 3. $20 for registration. Cash prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. Tables open at 10am
