Saturday, July 8, Downtown Library

As a part of our Many Voices series, The Hayward Public Library and Friends of Hayward Public Library invite you to join us for an author event with Alka Joshi at the Downtown Branch of the Hayward Public Library on July 8th from Noon to 2:00pm. Alka Joshi is the literary sensation and author of the bestselling Jaipur Trilogy series, which includes The Henna Artist, The Secret Keeper of Jaipur, and The Perfumist of Paris.

Our first opportunity to meet and interact with Alka Joshi is a 45-minute perfume mixing party with a limited # of seats to enjoy an intimate outdoor setting while learning to mix your own personal scent like a true Perfumist. With the purchase of a ticket, you will receive your personalized perfume and a signed copy of "The Perfumist of Paris" for the cost of $55.

With registration for a free ticket, our second opportunity includes an hour-long indoor author talk and book signing with Alka Joshi and a chance to sample perfumes and scents. Books will be available for purchase on-site or you may bring your own copy to get signed.
