A festival fit for the Cheeseburger Capital of Texas!

Up to 15 teams will be competing for the title of Cheeseburger Champions. First Place will win $1000 in prize money, Second Place will win $300 and the People’s Choice Winners will earn bragging rights for the year!  Cooking teams will be set up in the RV Slots, food and craft vendors, live music and air-conditioned dining will be available in the Community Center. This event helps showcase the heart of our community through cattle, grain, and dairy. It also helps fund other events hosted throughout the year such as; The Miss Friona Scholarship Pageant, Maize Days, Christmas in the Park, our Annual Awards Banquet, and the 4th of July Fireworks Show.
