Hello fans and friends of the Center Theatre,

I’m starting to regret promising all this new programming every week! It has to slow down sometime, right? Not this week!

New to the calendar you’ll find the SOCP’s famous Scratch Ticket Raffle (just in time for a lucky St. Patrick’s Day). We’re raffling off $100 worth or scratch tickets and a $100 bill. We only sell 300 tickets and they go fast! And because there’s a great need in our community, we’re holding our 2nd annual Fill the Seats Food Drive in partnership with the Dover Foxcroft Area Food Center. Drop off your non-perishable food or other items starting March 27th.

For the kiddos, registration is open for our popular April Vacation Drama Camp up at Central Hall. Camp runs from 8am to 2pm every day of vacation and instead of a set registration fee, you can pay what you’re able.

Lastly, mark your calendar on April 28th at 7pm. Barney Martin will be live on stage with his tribute to James Taylor and the singer/songwriters of the 1970s. Barney has been to the Theatre before and you won’t want to miss this show. Tickets are only $14 in advance and for Theatre members and $16 at the door. And in honor of Arbor day, the first 150 advance ticket purchasers will get a free Maine pine seedling.
