Join us Friday & Saturday, August 18th & 19th as the 34th annual end-of-summer celebration unfolds on the streets of Downtown Denton!

Caroline Summerfest is a free, family entertainment festival featuring two stages of regional & local entertainment, a Friday battle of the high school marching bands, Saturday fireworks show, strolling performers, artisans, free KidzArt activities, games and food vendors featuring local non-profits.

Free parking and shuttle bus transportation will be available from the Health and Public Services Building off 6th Street (across from Fire Hall) on both days.

Arts & Crafts - Handmade With Heart
Summerfest artisans display and sell quality handcrafted products. Jewelry, pet accessories, leather goods, & clothing are just a small selection of the items that can be purchased on-site at Caroline Summerfest!

Friday Night Car Show
On site arrival and check-in is from 5-6 P.M.
Show location is on Market Street below First Street and Courthouse.
Enter via Franklin and First Street (turn left before Bargain Beverage)
Top 30 trophies and Best in Show awards by 8 P.M.
Dash Plaques for the first 50 cars registered. (that’s a premier festival view!)
Registration is $15 by 8/14/23 OR $20 after 8/15/23.
In the event of a Friday rain-out, the show will be rescheduled for Saturday, August 19 at the same time. Car show entry will be on Third and Franklin at 5 P.M. Display area will be on Third and the 300 block of Market Street.

Rivah Run
Rivah Run is a fun open 2-mile paddling event for children and adults of all ages (under 18 must be with adult).  Any type of paddle craft is eligible for this “POKER RUN.”

Beginning and ending at the Choptank River Yacht Club each paddler stops at a series of checkpoints to receive a playing card. At the finish, the best five card poker hand wins the top prize, a kayak!

Local businesses have also contributed prizes for other winning poker hands.
