Join us in Alabama's Watermelon Capital for the Annual Franklin County Watermelon Festival!

This spectacular family event offers two days of live music, watermelon contests, 5k run, antique car & truck show, tasty festival foods, arts & crafts vendors, and slices of FREE watermelon! We will present our Watermelon Pageant Queens at the opening ceremony on Friday night! The 2023 Watermelon Festival Queen will cut the first watermelon of the festival & present the awards for our watermelon contest winners!

The Course
The 5k will begin at the RHS baseball field, run in the vicinity of the RHS campus, and finish with a lap on the RHS track.
