The City of San Clemente invites you to join community leaders on Memorial Day as they commemorate our fallen veterans.

The Memorial Day 2024 program will feature a keynote speaker, the presentation of wreaths and florals, the posting of the colors, taps bugler, and live music.

The program is held outdoors and is free and open to the public. Seating is limited. Please come early to ensure time to find parking.

WREATH/FLORAL DISPLAY:

The City of San Clemente invites all local civic organizations to join community leaders in honor of Memorial Day, Monday, May 27, 2024, to participate in providing wreaths to commemorate our fallen soldiers. The City’s traditional wreath memorial display will occur on the Community Center lawn, located at 100 N. Calle Seville, on the corner of Avenida Del Mar and Calle Seville. The display will be available for the public to view from 11 am to 12:30 pm.

If you would like to be part of the Memorial Day program as a wreath and floral presenting organization, please complete the online application. 

HONORING VETERANS AND SERVICE MEMBERS :

Additionally, the City seeks to honor all San Clemente area veterans and service members who have passed away over the past year. If you would like to commemorate a service member who has passed this year, please e-mail the name of the service member, military branch of service, and ranking, making note of any particular battles or wars in which the servicemember served. Names can be emailed to [email protected], with attention to Alexandra Gallardo, on or before May 21, 2024.
